When to Review Patrol Analytics
A few common cadences:
Weekly check (5 minutes) — Open the report filtered to the last 7 days. Glance at the calendar and patrol streak to confirm enforcement is happening.
Monthly review (20–30 minutes) — Filter to the last 30 days. Look at trend lines, top violation types, and the heatmap. This is the cadence most properties find useful.
Quarterly board review (full report) — Filter to the last 90 days, export to PDF, and walk leadership through coverage, trends, and program improvements.
Ad-hoc — Whenever the Last Patrol (Days Ago) dashboard widget jumps, when residents complain, or before renewing your patrol vendor contract.

Step back from individual sections. Something has changed at the property level — review property configuration, recent resident turnover, and any changes to the parking policy.
Important Notes
If the report looks empty or wrong, confirm the date range and the active property in your sidebar selector before assuming there's a data issue.
Patrol Analytics is a visibility tool, not an enforcement system on its own. The improvements come from the actions you take based on what the report shows.
