Bulk lease editing overview

Last updated: November 4, 2026

Bulk lease editing lets you update lease dates for many residents at once, or move a group of expired leases to month-to-month. Use it for renewal cycles and community-wide corrections instead of editing each profile.

How it works

Lease expiration dates drive how ParkingPass treats each resident. They control early renewal eligibility, whether a resident can pay, and parking access after the lease ends.

You can change lease dates in bulk two ways:

  • Update lease dates from a file. Upload a CSV with the new lease dates in the Resident Data Manager. ParkingPass shows the changes for you to review before you confirm.

  • Move expired leases to month-to-month. Month-to-month leases roll forward automatically, so you don't have to reset the expiration date every month.

Who can use it

  • Property managers with permission to update lease dates.

Where to find it

  • Lease dates: go to Resident Data Manager in the left sidebar. Download the CSV template if you need it.

  • Month-to-month: go to Expired Leases. The month-to-month option is on the right side of the screen.

Common questions

When should I use bulk lease editing?

Use it for an end-of-period renewal cycle, for moving a group of expired leases to month-to-month, or for correcting a lease-date error across your community.

We're moving everyone in one building to month-to-month. What should I check?

Confirm the list of residents is correct before you apply the change. Afterward, open a few resident profiles to make sure the change took effect.

Is there a Save button for month-to-month?

No. The change saves automatically once you confirm it on the second screen.

Important notes

  • Bulk changes apply to many residents at once and are hard to undo. Test with 5 to 10 residents first.

  • Changes take effect as soon as you confirm them.

  • Every change is logged in each affected resident's user history. See User History overview.

  • Expired leases also appear on your dashboard's Lease Status widget — see Dashboard overview.
