Login Attempts overview

Last updated: November 4, 2026

Login Attempts lets you see every attempt to sign in to a resident's account, successful or failed. Use it when a resident can't log in or when you suspect someone else is trying to access their account.

How it works

Login Attempts records each sign-in attempt on the resident's account. Each entry includes:

  • Method: how the login was attempted.

  • Status: whether it succeeded or failed.

  • Login Using: the credential used, like an email address or phone number.

  • IP Address: where the attempt came from.

  • Browser: the browser used.

  • Timestamp: when the attempt happened.

Login Attempts is kept for the lifetime of the resident's account.

Who can use it

  • Property managers.

Where to find it

Go to Residents, open the resident's profile, and click View Login Attempts at the bottom of the profile.

What you can do with it

  • Troubleshoot a resident who can't log in. See whether they're trying and what's failing — then see Login help overview.

  • Spot suspicious activity. Repeated failed attempts from unfamiliar IP addresses or browsers can mean someone is trying to get into the account.

  • Confirm whether a resident has ever logged in.

  • Investigate a complaint across several logs — see Handling a resident complaint with activity logs.

Important notes

  • Logs are records, not a real-time monitoring tool. Review them in response to a specific question.

  • There's no export button. Filter by date and take screenshots, or email support@parkingpass.com if you need a structured export.

  • This log includes IP addresses and access patterns. Handle it with the same care as any other resident data.
