Active guest passes overview
Last updated: November 4, 2026
My Guest Passes lets residents see their active guest passes, end one early, or extend one. Because guests don't have accounts, it's also where you start when a guest needs help.
How it works
Every guest pass belongs to the resident who created it. Under My Guest Passes, the host resident can:
See all their active passes, with each vehicle and expiration date.
End a pass early if a guest leaves sooner than planned.
Extend a pass, if your community allows it.
Passes are tied to one license plate. To change the plate, the resident ends the pass and creates a new one.
Helping a guest
Guests can't log in, so their questions go through the host resident:
"My pass isn't working." The resident checks the pass and plate in My Guest Passes.
"I need to update my plate." The resident ends the old pass and creates a new one.
"I got a violation." The resident files the dispute on the guest's behalf.
"I never got a confirmation." Check the Email Log and SMS Log on the host's profile, and resend if needed.
Most guest conversations are really conversations with the resident. Treat the host as the person you're helping.
Who can use it
Roles: residents manage their own passes. Property managers can view and create passes from a resident's account.
Package: the Enterprise package.
Where to find it
Residents log in at app.parkingpass.com and go to Guest/Rental Vehicles → My Guest Passes.
What you can do with it
Extend a pass — see Extending a guest pass.
Create a pass past a resident's limit — see Overriding a guest pass limit.
Dispute a guest's violation — see Citation disputes overview.
Important notes
If a resident can't find their guest's pass, make sure the host resident is the one logged in.
Guests don't have their own history. To see how often someone has visited, check the host resident's history in User History overview and their Email Log.
Every guest pass has a host. If you find one without a host, email support@parkingpass.com.
