Residents complete permit payments directly from their ParkingPass account once their application has been approved. Payments activate or re-activate parking permits immediately on successful processing.
How Residents Access Payment
Sign in at my.parkingpass.com.
Select Payment System+ from the left navigation.

Select the vehicle(s) being renewed or activated.
Click Checkout.
Review the Order Preview.
Select Proceed to Checkout.
Payment Processing
At checkout, residents may:
Add a new card, or
Use an existing saved payment method.
If billing address verification fails, they can select "Use different billing address than profile address" to resolve address-matching issues. Residents should also ensure that the billing address entered matches exactly as it appears on their card statement before using the alternative billing address option.
Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
Once payment is completed:
The permit activates immediately.
An on-screen confirmation is displayed.
A confirmation email is sent.
The receipt is available under Payment History.
Automatic Recurring Payments
Residents can opt into automatic recurring payments during checkout. This is the recommended option to avoid permit lapses and late fees — see Permit Expiration, Grace Period & Late Fees for the timeline if a payment is missed.
Important Notes
Payment options only appear after the resident's application has been approved.
If payment fails, the permit remains inactive until successfully processed. Refer to the "Troubleshooting Payment Issues" section below for steps to resolve payment failures.
Pricing is determined by your property's configuration (including tiered pricing if enabled) — see Parking Permit Prices and Tiered Pricing.
ParkingPass does not store credit card information. All payments are processed securely through Stripe.
Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy.
Troubleshooting Payment Issues
Insufficient Funds or Card Issues
Reason: The card may have insufficient funds, or it could be frozen or flagged by the bank due to potential fraud.
Resolution:
Check your account balance to ensure there are sufficient funds available.
Contact your bank to confirm that the card is not frozen or flagged for fraud.
Incorrect Billing Address
Reason: The billing address entered during payment does not match the one on the cardholder’s statement.
Resolution:
Re-enter the billing address exactly as it appears on your card statement.
3D Secure (3DS) Authentication Failure
Reason: 3D Secure authentication, an added security layer to verify the cardholder’s identity, was not successfully completed. This could involve entering a password, a one-time code, or using biometric verification.
Resolution:
Ensure you complete the 3D Secure authentication step when prompted during the transaction.
If the authentication fails, contact your bank for assistance.
General Troubleshooting Steps
If you encounter a payment failure:
Verify that your card details (number, expiration date, CVV) are entered correctly.
Check your internet connection to ensure the transaction is not interrupted.
Try using a different card if the issue persists.
Contact your bank or card issuer for further assistance if none of the above steps resolve the issue.
