Approving a previously declined application
Last updated: November 3, 2026
You can still approve a resident application after it's been declined, whether someone declined it or it declined automatically after 10 days.
Who can do this: Property Managers, Office Staff.
Before you start
If the resident needs to fix their vehicle details, follow the note under Important notes first. Don't ask them to start a new application.
Steps
Go to New Resident Applications.
Use the filter and select Declined.
Find the application and click View Application.
Review the applicant's information and documents.
Approve each vehicle using the Action options.
Submit the reviewed application.
What happens next
The application moves to approved, and the resident's approved vehicles can park.
Important notes
If the application was declined because the resident needs to correct vehicle information, keep the existing application. Open the resident's account, use Vehicle Quick Actions, and select Un-verify. Then ask the resident to sign in and update the vehicle details.
This also fixes cases where a resident can't reapply because their earlier application shows as declined.
Troubleshooting
If you can't find the application, confirm the Declined filter is selected and the right community is selected in the property selector.
If you still can't find it, open the resident's account, go to the vehicle, click Vehicle Actions, and select View Application.
