Transferring a resident to a new unit or address
Last updated: November 4, 2026
When a resident moves to a different unit in your community, update their address so their account and active permits carry over. They won't need to create a new account or register their vehicles again.
This matters most when a resident already has active permits or long-term parking arrangements.
Steps
In the left navigation, use the search field to find the resident by name, email, or unit number.
Open the resident's account.
Click Quick Actions.
Select Update Info.
Enter the new information in the Address / Unit section.
Save your changes.
If your community uses assigned parking, or the resident's lease expiration date has changed, update those fields too. This keeps the resident's parking access accurate.
What happens next
The address change takes effect as soon as you save it. Active parking permits stay tied to the resident's account after the transfer.
Important notes
Updating the address means the resident doesn't need to register again or create a new account.
Review the resident's account after saving to confirm the details are correct.
