Requesting a tow outside of patrol hours

Last updated: November 3, 2026

To have a vehicle towed outside your scheduled patrol hours, contact your patrol vendor directly. ParkingPass doesn't dispatch tow trucks or manage live enforcement.

Applies to: communities that work with a third-party patrol vendor.

Before you start

Use this when a vehicle needs to be removed right away and your patrol isn't on site, for example when:

  • A vehicle is blocking another vehicle.

  • A vehicle is parked in a fire lane or emergency access area.

  • A vehicle is blocking an entryway or loading zone.

Have your patrol vendor's contact information ready. If you don't have it, check your enforcement agreement or email support@parkingpass.com.

Steps

  1. Contact your patrol vendor directly.

  2. Give them the location and the vehicle's details.

  3. Follow your community's emergency towing procedures.

What happens next

Your patrol vendor decides when to respond, based on their availability and your contract terms.

Important notes

  • Your patrol hours are set in your community's enforcement agreement.

  • ParkingPass supports scheduled enforcement but doesn't handle real-time dispatch.

  • Off-hours and emergency tow requests always go directly to your patrol vendor.
