Transferring a Resident to a New Unit or Address


Sometimes residents move within the same property or transfer to a different unit. Updating their address in ParkingPass allows their existing account and active parking permits to carry over, avoiding the need for the resident to create a new account or re-register their vehicles.

This is especially important when a resident already has active permits or long-term parking arrangements in place.


Steps

  1. Use the search field in the left navigation dashboard to search for the resident by name, email, or unit number

  2. Open the resident’s account

  3. Click the green Quick Actions button

  4. Select Update Info

  5. On the next page, update the Address / Unit section with the new information

  6. Save the changes

💡 Tip: If your property uses assigned parking or the resident has a change of lease expiration dates, be sure to update those fields as well so the resident’s parking access remains accurate.


Important Notes

  • Address changes take effect immediately once saved

  • Active parking permits remain tied to the resident’s account after the transfer

  • Updating the address prevents the need for the resident to re-register or create a new account

  • Always review the resident’s account after saving to confirm details are correct
