Parking Permit Prices
Permit pricing varies by community and is determined during onboarding based on the property’s parking policy and agreement. ParkingPass reflects the pricing structure configured for the property.
Why Pricing Can Differ
Each property establishes its own:
-
Permit fees
-
Guest pass pricing (if applicable)
-
Vehicle limits
-
Enforcement structure
As a result:
-
Some communities charge for resident permits
-
Some include parking as part of a lease
-
Some use paid guest parking
-
Some use hybrid models (free up to a limit, then paid)
Pricing and limits may vary even between nearby properties.
Tiered Pricing (If Enabled)
Some properties use tiered pricing.
Under tiered pricing:
-
Permit cost may increase based on the number of vehicles registered to a unit
-
Different tiers may apply to first, second, or additional vehicles
Tier configuration is established during onboarding and applied automatically by the system.
How Residents View Pricing
Residents see permit pricing during the permit registration or renewal process.
Pricing is displayed during:
-
Permit selection
-
Checkout
-
Guest pass registration (if paid guest parking is enabled)
All applicable fees are shown before payment confirmation.
Configuration & Changes
Permit pricing structure is configured during onboarding and may be tied to contractual terms.
Any changes to permit pricing must be coordinated through ParkingPass Support in collaboration with Account Management.
Important Notes
-
Pricing is enforced automatically by the system once configured.
-
Tiered pricing (if enabled) applies automatically based on vehicle count.
- Refunds are not offered for unused days, or permits that are ended early.
