Patrol Analytics – Understanding Your Community Enforcement Activity
The Patrol Analytics dashboard gives property managers a high-level view of patrol activity, parking violations, enforcement trends, and recurring parking issues across their community.
This page is designed to help you:
- Verify patrol coverage
- Monitor enforcement activity
- Identify parking problem areas
- Track repeat offenders
- Review long-term trends
- Better understand how your parking policies are performing
The dashboard updates automatically as patrol activity and violations occur within your ParkingPass account.
Accessing Patrol Analytics
From the left navigation menu:
- Open Reports
- Select Patrol
- Open Patrol Analytics
From there, you can:
- Select a date range
- Review patrol activity
- Analyze violations
- Export reports
Date Range Filters
At the top of the page, you can choose:
- Start Date
- End Date
This allows you to:
- Review recent patrol activity
- Compare trends over time
- Analyze specific incidents or periods
- Prepare reports for board meetings or internal reviews
After selecting your dates, click Update to refresh the dashboard.
Violation Heatmap
The Violation Heatmap visually displays where violations are occurring throughout your property.
Benefits
This section helps you:
- Identify parking “hotspots”
- Discover problem areas
- Understand where enforcement is most active
- Determine if additional signage or policy adjustments may be needed
Examples:
- Repeated guest parking abuse near amenities
- Unauthorized parking near reserved spaces
- Recurring fire lane violations
If no violations exist for the selected timeframe, the map will remain empty.
Patrol Activity Calendar
The Patrol Activity Calendar shows which days patrol activity occurred within your community.
Benefits
This section allows managers to:
- Confirm patrol consistency
- Verify enforcement coverage
- Review patrol gaps
- Monitor vendor performance
The calendar also helps ensure patrol expectations are being met according to your community’s parking program.
Color Indicators
- Green = Patrol activity occurred
- Yellow = Patrol On Hold
- Gray/Blank = No patrol activity
Patrol Performance Insights
This section summarizes overall patrol consistency and enforcement performance.
Metrics may include:
- Current patrol streak
- Longest patrol streak
- Longest gap without patrol
- Days patrolled

Violation Breakdown
The Violation Breakdown section categorizes violations by type.

This may include:
- Warnings

This area tracks:
- Vehicles with multiple violations
- Repeat enforcement activity
- Escalating violation patterns

- If patrol has not started yet, many sections may appear empty.
