Managing the Do-Not-Tow (DNT) List

The Do-Not-Tow (DNT) list protects specific vehicles from enforcement actions according to your property’s configured rules.

Vehicles placed on the DNT list are excluded from standard violation processing based on the protection level applied.

View the Do-Not-Tow List

To view all vehicles currently protected:

  1. Open your property portal

  2. From the left navigation menu, select Patrols

  3. Click Do-Not-Tow

This page displays all vehicles currently on the DNT list, including their protection level and duration.

Add a Vehicle to the Do-Not-Tow List

You can add vehicles in two ways:

Option 1 – From the Main DNT Page

  1. Navigate to Patrols → Do-Not-Tow

  2. Click the green New Do-Not-Tow button

  3. Enter the required vehicle details

  4. Select the appropriate protection duration

  5. Save

Option 2 – From a Resident Account

  1. Open the resident’s dashboard

  2. Scroll to Registered Vehicles

  3. Select the green Vehicle Actions button

  4. Choose Protect Vehicle (DNT)

Once added, the vehicle will appear on the Do-Not-Tow list and will be protected based on your property’s enforcement configuration.

Protection Duration

DNT entries may be configured for:

  • Temporary protection (with defined start and end dates)

  • Ongoing protection (commonly used for employees or approved vendors)

Duration settings should align with your property’s enforcement policies.

Important Notes

  • Each property has a configured limit on the number of vehicles that may be placed on the DNT list.

  • Protected vehicles will be highlighted on a resident's profile

  • Employees who live on the property may still be required to purchase a resident parking permit under the property’s configured rules.

  • If your property chooses not to charge employees for permits, reimbursement can be handled by your property seperately.

  • Always confirm vehicle details carefully to avoid unintended protection.

  • Enforcement vendors rely on the DNT list during patrol operations.
