Lease Expiring Before a Parking Permit

When a resident’s lease expires before their parking permit term ends, the system will automatically prorate the permit cost. This ensures residents are only charged for the time they are eligible to park.

Steps

  1. Ensure the resident’s lease dates are accurate in the system.
  2. When the resident selects and purchases a parking permit, the system will automatically calculate the prorated amount based on the lease end date.
  3. Review the resident’s account if needed to confirm the permit duration and payment details.

💡 Tip: If something doesn’t look right, try refreshing the page or signing out and back in.

Important Notes

  • Permit pricing is automatically prorated based on the resident’s lease end date.
  • No manual adjustment is required from the property team.
  • If lease dates are incorrect, it may impact the prorated amount shown to the resident.
  • Permit access will end when the resident’s lease expires.

Troubleshooting

If you run into issues:

  • Confirm the resident’s lease dates are accurate in their profile
  • Verify the correct permit option is being selected
  • Try a different browser or device
