Can't access resident accounts or applications in the portal

Last updated: November 6, 2026

If you cannot open resident accounts, view applications, or access citation details in the portal, it's usually one of 3 causes. Start with the quick checks below.

Quick checks

  1. Make sure you are logging in at app.parkingpass.com — not my.parkingpass.com or any other URL.

  2. Try logging out and back in. Temporary session issues can block access to resident records.

Common causes and fixes

Wrong portal URL

What you'll see: An error message when clicking View Account, or pages that appear blank or fail to load — even though records show on the dashboard.

How to fix it: Navigate directly to app.parkingpass.com and log in from there. This applies to both property staff and residents trying to view or pay citations. The system is designed to redirect automatically, but going directly to this URL resolves most access errors.

Resident account was removed or deactivated

What you'll see: A resident cannot log in at all, even after a password reset, or their account no longer appears active in the portal.

How to fix it: Contact ParkingPass Support at support@parkingpass.com with the resident's full name and unit number. The support team can review the account status and reactivate it if appropriate. Note: if a resident was removed from the property in error, the property manager should also verify the resident's current status before requesting reactivation.

Resident login issues (wrong password or credentials)

What you'll see: A resident reports being unable to log in, even after attempting a password reset.

How to fix it: Have the resident use the Forgot Password option on the login page to reset their credentials. Confirm they are using the correct email address associated with their account. If the issue persists after a reset, contact support with the resident's name and unit so the team can investigate further.

Still stuck?

Email support@parkingpass.com with the resident's name, unit, and a screenshot of what you're seeing.
